But not so fast!—throughout the game, cards that change the rules and the goal of the game make for ever-evolving game play. Every turn can change your fate, and victory (or defeat) might not be as certain as you think…
Fluxx begins with one basic rule: draw one card, play one card. You start with a hand of three cards… add the card you drew to your hand, and then choose one card to play, following the directions written on your chosen card. As cards are drawn and played from the deck, the rules of the game change from how many cards are drawn, played or even how many cards you can hold at the end of your turn. Even the object of the game will often change as you play, as players swap out one goal card for another. Can you achieve World Peace before someone changes the goal to Bread and Chocolate?
Fluxx Español, the Spanish language version of Fluxx, has all the educational benefits of the original Fluxx and is excellent for both foreign language classes and kids learning English as a second language. Once kids are familiar with Fluxx in their first language, they will be able to switch to Fluxx in their target language and practice new vocabulary.
